When I was two years old I used to wake up and tell my parents of an old woman who would sit at my bedside and watch me sleep. I always called her grandma. What I did not know was that before we were able to rent the house we were currently living in, a woman of one-hundred years old died sitting before the picture window in our living room.
When I was nine years old I was attempting to sleep one night in my loft bed when I rolled over and saw the shadow of a husky male plastered against my wall. Frankly, it scared me so, I climbed out of bed and rearranged my entire room, attempting to rid my room of the aforementioned shadow. It simply was not phased, I saw this shadow every night until the day we moved. When I was nine we lived near the old colonial part of Virginia. My mom and my dad told me that anyone could have been buried in our back yard had they died during the travels of any of the troops. I didn't like that one bit.
When I was fifteen years old, we lived in an old double house (a regular sized house split into two apartments), that was probably in the range of eighty to one-hundred years old. While doing my homework one day, I was startled by the full body figure of a five year old boy who was just standing in the corner by our sink, facing the wall. He was wearing a plain white t-shirt and I think what were blue-jeans, I didn't see his face but while I was walking toward him I was saying something along the lines of "hey, how did you get in here? You can't be in here" he was gone.
When I was sixteen my family and I moved into the house we are currently living in, this also being the house that my grandmother on my mom's side died in. Now, before the plot of land was bought by my grandfather, there were a row of homes aptly named row-houses splayed out. 1 house in the front, 1 in the back was the common layout. Now, I would often see the shadows of pets, or different little animals, sometimes if I was lucky I'd see a human walking by. Now, once I grew older I would begin seeing these figures everywhere.
All of my life I have seen shadow figures or undetailed apparitions of the deceased. I have also had dreams about them which would often lead to being labelled as premonitions later the next day. I have never considered myself to be psychic, but as of late and everything I have seen and experienced, I am coming to the realization that I am slightly psychic..
Even while I am at work, I see figures of animals, hear my name called when no one physical had said it. I will think someone is standing at the counter and go to greet them just to see nothing but air. As of late it has gotten to the point where I am seeing these apparitions in full body and often next to me. I am sometimes startled until I realize that so long as I have faith in my Super 7 as well as my own power and will, I cannot be harmed.
The times I mentioned to have had a supernatural experience were not the only I have ever had, however those were the more prominent times I could remember in one sitting..
I will try to add more of my paranormal experiences!

Interesting turn of events
on 4/2 we adopted a young cat by the name of Precious, unfortunately this little lady was a drop off meaning, the owner she had did not want her. Since she has been in our home I have noticed that she follows me everywhere, how the natural thing for me to do is jump the gun and say "oh my goddess this is my familiar!" I also know that may not also be the case.
Familiars are as defined by Rowan Pendragon an animal you feel a strange familiarity with.
I havent meditated since she came into the home, nor have I conducted any rituals, I dont doubt however that she'll be right by me seeing as how she loves staring at my large stones (such as selenite, rose quartz, citrine, flourite and my crystal quartz ball). She loves my favorite plants and especially loves my wands, to me that gives her a fighting chance to possibly be a familiar.
As soon as I saw her I knew she was a perfect addition to the family and actually spent her first night with me.
I believe she has great potential for being my familiar but in the same instance I am possibly being very foolish.
Now enough cat talk.
I have been seeing shadow figures for a solid five months now, although I don't mind, it is getting more frequent.
Last night after work I saw a full bodied appirition peer over my shoulder at my computer, then, as soon as it came into my view it disappeared. Totally unphased I looked around, shrugged and went back to what I was doing, soon after I was on my way to the bathroom and saw a figure very similar to Precious' cross my path. I jumped just a small amount thinking I was about to step on my own cat!
Wearing my super 7 has helped open my third eye to incredible amouints. I'll make my next post all for the super 7 so I can explain the stone.

Time to play catch up..
Merry Meet World!
Gods I haven't posted in so long! I apologize for my absence!
The chaos started wreaking havoc in my life when my mother and I decided to start work on my first apartment, which, went fantastically!
I'd prefer not to have to get into the details of what transpired over the passed few months, some of the events were tragically heart breaking and nerve wracking. I would actually love to flaunt what has happened recently.
So this begins my actual post..
Lately I began thinking about all of the hormones pumped into meat, how the animal often lives in fear and is slaughtered in absolute fear. As a pagan that concerns me and bogs me down with unneeded and harmful energy. So instead of continuing to eat something that actually began making me feel absolutely awful, I began my vegetarian diet!
This was my dinner tonight! A friend of my friend told me it was alright to eat Tofu raw which excited me! I bought about a pound of it at Wegmans and had no idea what i was going to do with it, all i knew was that i would be eating it sometime very soon!
Tonight I crumbled it into a bowl of mixed lettuce, I cut up some cheese (swiss), cut up baby carrots and added red bell pepper then, to top it all off, I lightly drizzled some italian dressing over the lettuce. It was absolutely delicious and very rewarding. After a meal with meat I used to feel heavy, tired and unsatisfied, but, an all vegetable diet makes me feel light, energetic and happy. Every part of my body feels revitalized, I am even sleeping better at night!
I will go through and make a post for each month as I see fit and post you all up to date on what is going on NOW and what happened THEN. But as for tonight, I bid you all a good night and day tomorrow!

Merry Meet Again!
Lately, I've been noticing how each moonphase effects me. For example, a few days before the full moon, usually on the last days of the phase before I feel out of place, paranoid and scatter brained. Everyone so far has told me that it's common for people to feel odd during a full moon, however what's not common is that on a new moon I feel revitalized, refreshed, comfortable.
Often when I'm feeling strange, like, really tired or sick I have to check the moonphase. Usually this never fails to help me understand what's going on so I'm able to meditate and ground myself to help cope with the phase.
Q: "Why do you think grounding yourself helps with the changing moon?"
A: "I don't think this, I know this helps because it's restablishing a connection with the earth which gives me nourishment and means of life. It centers my chakras and helps my energies mesh easier with eachother."
Now I promised to give some insight on my spirit animal.
For my 20th birthday I received a book on how to discover your own spirit animal. It's an amazing little book that's only about sixty pages long, but it gives you ways on how to unconsciously and consciously meditate on your guide. My first try with one of the first three techniques listed, and I was successful.
Q: "What was the technique?"
A: "Well it's quite simple. Just before bed, take a glass of water and wrap your hands aorund it, envision a white light emitting from your hands and soaking into the water. Comfortably sip at it, feel the energy soaking into your limps while you repeat to yourself 'I will remember my dreams' as many times you feel comfortable with, while drinking the water and before you fall asleep. While you're laying down covered in blankets continue to repeat it. All that's left is to fall asleep."
Q: "And that really worked? What were your results?"
A: "Yes. I fell asleep, my 'dreams' took me to the woods which happened to be an evergreen forest covered in snow. I wasn't cold, just wandering through the forest gleefully when I climbed one of the several trees and jumped into the sky. Well, instead of plummeting to the ground, I was flying in no time, soaring magestically through the winter sky. I joined a flight of eagles or hawks, which I found strange but did not question this. Just as I turned to ask one of the birds where they were taking me I flew head first into one of the tall pines and soon after I tumbled down into the snow when my alarm went off to wake up my boyfriend."
Q: "Did you repeat the process?"
A: "Yes. Once I repeated the processs of drinking the water and repeating the phrase while falling asleep, I continued from the forest floor. Once I stood I was escorted by a variety of animals to my final location. I was standing before a pool of water in a waterfall setting, talking to a canine perched upon the largest rock."
Q: "Did you ever try again, to communicate with your spirit animal?"
A: "One more time, which was successful then too. Once I repeated the beginning process and fell asleep, I was soon runnin through the familiar Pennsylvania Mountaintop fields. There was labored breathing beside me, and when I had the gumption to look beside me I was stunned to realize several things. First, I wasn't running on two legs, but on four; Second, I was running alongside the same canine I had seen before; Third, there were no other animals around, just us. Before I could ask any questions my eyes flew open at the shrieking scream of my alarm."
Now, a few weeks after my discovery my boyfriend and I travelled to New Hampshire for my birthday. Once we were there, his mother googled the local 'new age' shops which then lead us to the most amazing stores I will ever set foot in. One of which is where I talked to a middle aged witch who was all too shocked to hear I had just discovered my spirit animal. When I asked why he was so shocked, he indulged in telling me that it was not exactly a common thing for someone my age to happen upon. This made me feel special. Silly but true.
I do however, think that is enough for one blog post.

Late night boredum
Merry Meet World!
Let me start off this blog with saying, if you think being a practicing Pagan Witch is a crime, go the fuck away. I don't have time for ignorance.
I'm twenty years old and have been practicing for two solid years but researching the subject of Paganism for five. I am a military supporter, more than half of my family is actively serving or veterans and this probably stemmed into me falling in love with a United States Air Force Staff Sergeant.
there's really not much for me to tell other than i'm hopelessly addicted to books, right now i'm currently whoring on two, Practical Magic and the Vampire Chronicles. I often joke that I'm a book whore, cheating on Anne Rice with Alice Hoffman. lol.
And as of right now, I'm failing at this openig post miserably. Late night television has successfully distracted me, the cold making me tired and worsening my headache making it hard for me to stare at the bright screen in this milky darkness.
I'll end it but know, my next post will be taking a look into my journey of discovering my spirit animal :)
